Here are some of our photos from our recent trip to Klackles Orchards in Greenville, MI. Yes, that is a camel in the first photo! A local farmer takes Shalamar, his 9-year old camel, to local farms and events. Shalamar is also the star of their live nativity at Christmas time. Samedh was eager to ride the camel, and still talks about it today. He also enjoyed the pony rides, "pumpkin train", picking apples "right off the tree", and the delicious Honey Crisp Apple donut he and I shared at the end of the day.
