These photos were taken yesterday afternoon. When you have spring-like weather in November, how can you
not be outside? Samedh enjoyed playing in the leaves, even though the pile was not the largest. He even mowed the leaves with his toy lawn mower. While Samedh played, I had a few moments to take care of some last minute yard work for the season. I pruned the rosebush and transferred potted mums into the ground for their winter slumber. Last but not least, Samedh and I set up our grapevine reindeer in the front yard. We won't light him up until we're back from India, but at least he's firmly staked in the ground before the ground freezes.

Do you have snow yet? We have a light covering of white stuff today. Kelsey was excited to put on her boots and snow pants this morning.
I told Tim that I would like to get a grapevine reindeer (buck) for our front yard. I've always loved those. Cool that you guys have one.
My photos on my blog lately are just from Picasa3 (new version). It's pretty cool and seems faster. Talk to you soon. Have a great week.
We had snow on Sunday, but only enough to lightly cover the deck and roof tops. Samedh was really excited about it and can't wait to shovel outside. Not enough for that yet. Maybe when we get back from India in a few weeks.
As for the reindeer, my recommendation is to go to Target the day after Christmas. That's what we did and got our buck 50% off the regular price. Michael's is a good option too, if you have a store by you. Someday, I would like to add a couple more deer.
