Maya = Illusion, Goddess Lakshmi Meena = Precious stone, Fish

One week ago today, our new friend Maya Meena was born. What a beautiful name! Her proud parents are our good friends Jay & Judy. Samedh and I just viewed a few photos of Baby Maya this morning, and he was just so thrilled. He loves babies. Samedh talks about Maya all the time, and pronounces her name perfectly. We are so anxious to make a trip to Portland so we can meet Maya, but we'll hold off until Mom and Dad get settled into their new routine. Like us, Jay & Judy are first time parents. We hope to make a trip out that way sometime later this year.
