Yesterday we made our annual family outing to the butterfly exhibit at Frederik Meijer Gardens in Grand Rapids. This year, the little guys were really buzzing in and out among the crowd, and it was really amazing. I was told that I had two butterflies on my back, but unfortunately was not able to see them! Samedh really enjoyed the butterfly character (top photo), whom he calls the "Butterfly Man". He actually preferred this larger than life butterfly to the real thing. Since we make regular visits to the Gardens, we decided it was time to get a family membership. So now for the next full year, we can enjoy all the gardens and exhibits free of charge. We are definitely looking forward to visiting the Children's Garden this summer, and may even pay another visit to the butterflies before they are gone in April.

Ok---you are really making me miss that place! Love the butterflies...love your photos. Thanks for bringing a little bit of the Meier's Gardens/butterflies to me.

I absolutely love the father-son photo of Samedh and Pankaj at the Meier Gardens....they both are so bright and happy :-)
