One look at his photo, and this little guy stole my heart

Just a one inch color photo, and living oceans apart

We began a process that took months but felt like years

And when we met in person there were so many happy tears

Now we are settled in our cozy little home

Each of us knowing that we will ever feel alone

Up in heaven is where our family was made
